I have no immediate plans for litters, but I do have advice.

Please look for a breeder who is a member of the American Lapponian Herder Association.

Demand to see parent dogs' health testing (genetic panel and OFA hip and elbow results at minimum)  Also ask for the pedigree and the coefficient of inbreeding on that pairing.

Question the breeder about the socialization they do.

Do not be so wowed by this amazing and rare breed that you support an unscrupulous breeder (and yes, they are out there).
